KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Configure and operate telecommunications system included Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), Optical Transport Network (OTN), Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) Multiplexer (MUX) network systems, fiber optic connection and OT voice communication.
• Lead or assist in planning and execution works on OT telecommunication projects for smart grid and digital power plant throughout whole Sarawak.
• Lead or assist in planning and execution works on IT telecommunication projects for main and regional offices throughout whole Sarawak.
• Maintain high availability uptime of telecommunications system throughout whole Sarawak for operational excellence.
• Assist in coordinating with the business stakeholders to develop agreed-upon rollout plans for new telecommunication projects.
• Support project team for the installation, testing and commissioning of the OT and IT telecommunications project.
• Prepare ICT telecommunications project business case and budget on yearly basis.
• Actively pursue creative and innovative telecommunication solutions that align with SEB digital transformation vision.
• Assist with any ad hoc tasks assigned by the line manager as needed.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer/Electronics/Telecommunication/Communication Engineering is preferred, other discipline will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years with relevant working experience in ICT telecommunications, specifically in fiber optic communication is preferred.
• Possessing any ICT professional level certification will be an advantage.
• Possessing any professional certification in project management such as Prince2 Foundation or any relevant certs will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge/experience in procurement, annual budget preparation and vendor management.
• Basic understanding and experience in project management and ICT service delivery methodology such as PMI, ITIL, Prince2, etc.

SKILLS:

• Good knowledge and understanding of business and ICT Technology.
• Telecommunication, server and network design architecture and administration (e.g. Fiber Optic, SDH/DWDM and etc.).
• Good multi-tasking skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Knowledge in Information Governance (IG) and ISO 27001 standard, policies and procedures.
