#Vacancy #IT Support Executive #KL (Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) Our client is a subsidiary company based in China that specializes in advertising such as digital signage screen advertising, elevator advertising, etc., located in Kuala Lumpur. They are looking for an IT Support Executive. Besides the attractive salary, they also have 5 days of work a week, a performance bonus, transport allowance, insurance, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist in the setup of desktop & notebook computers and installation of the Standard Office Environment. - Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults. - Monitor, configure and maintain servers, systems, VOIP, and network infrastructure, including Active Directory, email, routing/switching, firewall, load balancer, VPN, and operating system. - Manage and monitor IT inventory such as software licenses, computers, laptops, printers, and other equipment/devices. - Perform regular OS (Microsoft and Linux) security patches, and anti-virus upgrades for all computers, laptops, and servers. - Maintain, configure and operate computer systems, servers, network-related systems, and virtualization. - Ensure all software, applications, networks, and other systems are efficiently and conclusively assessed, upgraded, configured, installed, and rectified for optimum performance and security. - Provide technical networking support on cabling and communication equipment. - Provide IT technical recommendations based on task requirements. - Achieve protection goals and objectives consistent with corporate strategy. - Implement and monitor daily backup operations and conduct recovery tests. - Source and liaise with vendors on all IT-related equipment, services, and application systems. - Implement policies, procedures, guidelines, and technical solutions of the IT department. - Prepare user reference manuals and training materials. - Perform hardware and software inventory management including IT supplies. - Assist in project management and coordination. - To perform other tasks assigned by the Company. - To perform IT-related tasks during company events. REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge and experience in current Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 Services (including Teams), PC and Apple technologies, Video Conferencing Technologies, print and imaging, and Mobile Technologies is an added advantage. - Diploma or Degree holder in IT. - Min 3 years experience in providing IT technical support to users and customers. - Open race, but Chinese-speaking candidates below 35 years old only, as the parent company is from China.
