Job Responsibilities:
Provide local IT support and administration to the staff based in the KL, Malaysia office and remote support to staff in the other offices in the APAC region
Install, configure, support and troubleshoot software application and services
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for desktops / laptops / tablets / phones.
Installation, maintenance and support of applications, printers etc.
Perform root cause analysis, repairing system software, troubleshooting performance issues, OS configuration and hardware failures
Schedule and implement new user orientation on the operation of PC and navigation to network resources
Maintain inventory assignment history of all IT equipment and technical documentation
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience in a technical support/desktop support function
Strong PC troubleshooting skills (software and hardware)
Customer focused, 'think outside the box', methodical and well organized
Self-motivated, pro-active and willing to learn
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Basic networking knowledge with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPN, CATO
Technical knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, iOS, Android
Standard Microsoft desktop technology (Office365, Microsoft Teams, ...)
Understanding of Windows Active Directory Services
