Job Overview
This position is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting Medical Informatics Solutions installed at customer sites. The role also involves participating in system implementation projects for new and existing sites as required. The ideal candidate is technically competent, customer-focused, and able to work independently in both remote and on-site environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide IT technical support for existing system installations, both remotely and on-site.
Perform regular system health checks at defined intervals to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Monitor and review sites in post-implementation stages for maintenance contract proposals and billing coordination.
Track progress and quality of work performed by relevant technical disciplines or vendors.
Assist Project Managers in system implementation activities for new installations and system upgrades.
Ensure client requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Communicate ideas for improving internal processes with a positive and constructive attitude.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to system support and maintenance activities.
Job Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT Technical Support or a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Windows Operating Systems
Microsoft Applications
Networking fundamentals
Remote desktop applications
VMware applications
Backup and recovery solutions
IT hardware deployment and configuration (servers & workstations)
Experience with PACS systems, EIZO displays, and Computed Radiography is a strong advantage.
Good knowledge and experience in supporting Microsoft products.
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Positive "can-do" attitude with a high level of accountability.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Persuasive, able to exert positive influence, and motivate others when required.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Willing to travel outstation as required (own car is mandatory).
Additional Information
This role involves customer-facing responsibilities and may require after-hours or on-call support when necessary.
Travel to client sites is a key component of the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
