Job responsibilities Data Collection and Preparation: Gather financial and accounting data from various sources. Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Handle data validation and resolve discrepancies. Data Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights from financial datasets. Conduct variance analysis and trend analysis on financial data. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes. Create scenario analyses to assess the impact of different financial decisions. Reporting: Generate regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Design and implement dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate findings to non-technical audiences. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting process by providing data-driven insights. Contribute to the development of financial forecasts based on historical data and market trends. Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand charts, graphs, and reports. Use tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within financial data management. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance data-related processes. Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial data. Risk Assessment: Analyze financial data to identify potential risks and areas of concern. Provide insights to support risk management strategies. Collaboration: Collaborate with finance teams, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Work with business units to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, finance & accounting math, statistics, computer science, business or another quantitative field. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply strong working knowledge and ability to structure data and write algorithms in programming tools and languages such as Python Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Critical thinking and a sharp eye for detail and comfortable with failing and possess the drive to keep trying. Knowledge of accounting Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.
