Responsible for conducting material testing, sampling, and analysis to ensure all construction materials comply with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Supports site QAQC operations by maintaining accurate records and reporting test results promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Material Sampling & Testing
Collect and test construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and steel.
Perform laboratory and field tests such as slump test, sieve analysis, compaction test, and cube compressive strength.
Calibrate, maintain, and operate testing instruments according to standards.
Quality Assurance Compliance
Verify materials meet project specifications, ASTM, BS, or MS standards.
Record, analyze, and report test results to QAQC Engineer.
Identify and report non-conformances in material quality.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain up-to-date test logs, calibration certificates, and daily lab records.
Prepare test reports for submission to consultants or clients.
Ensure traceability and proper storage of test samples.
Site & Laboratory Coordination
Support site teams with on-site material testing.
Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and QAQC team for sampling schedules.
Ensure lab safety, cleanliness, and proper waste disposal.
Equipment Maintenance
Perform periodic maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
Maintain equipment inventory and report any damages or malfunctions.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
