About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented

QAQC Engineer

with

1-3 years of experience in construction projects

to join our team in Sandakan. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality standards, ensuring compliance with specifications, and handling government requirements, permits, and safety regulations at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures to ensure construction works meet required standards. Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements. Conduct inspections, material testing, and audits for quality assurance. Prepare QA/QC reports, checklists, and documentation for submission to management and government authorities. Liaise with site engineers, consultants, contractors, and government agencies regarding quality and compliance issues. Ensure all works comply with government regulations, statutory requirements, and permit conditions. Report and manage non-conformance, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Support project teams to achieve timely completion of works with high quality and safety.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field.

1-3 years of QA/QC experience

in construction projects. Familiar with QA/QC standards, inspection procedures, and government compliance processes (e.g., submissions, approvals, permits). Knowledge of construction materials, testing methods, and industry codes of practice. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and in a team environment. Willing to be based in

Sandakan

and work at project sites.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
