Assisting the Senior QS in managing all proposals and contracts consistently.
Responsible in preparing Project tenders.
Review and check sub-contractor progress claims.
Able to advise suitable and effective strategies, skills and method in tender pricing.
To ensure that all variation orders are well recorded and claimed.
Liaise and work closely with the Project Manager on monthly cost reports.
Participate in meetings with consultants, sub-contractors regarding contracts, costings, invoicing, and billing.
Responsible for ensuring all suppliers, sub-contractors, workers, and expenses are in accordance with the budget.
Prepare the pre- and post-project budget, progress claims, projected cash flow, tender documentation, and final accounts.
Ensure progress claims, certifications, and invoices are issued on time.
Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey.
Minimum two (2) year\'s experience in the construction industry.
Write and communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in additional language is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and have organizational skills.
A basic understanding of construction contracts is required.
Candidate with on-site working experience will be an advantage.
