Key Account Manager
A key player in precision manufacturing specializes in high-tech components for industries such as semiconductor, electronics, and renewable energy is looking for Key Account Manager with an entrepreneur mindset to join their team.Key Responsibilities for Key Account Manager

  • The role involves managing customer and supplier relationships to ensure optimal cooperation and goodwill between companies.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating across the organization to represent organization\'s interests and address customer needs effectively.
  • Key duties encompass:
  • Sales: Focus on generating revenue and expanding market share by researching and targeting prospective accounts. Includes program management, account development, and establishing key relationships, while meeting revenue and profitability goals and negotiating contracts.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts to safeguard and expand business opportunities. Create key account plans, conduct strategic reviews, and contribute to strategic planning and technical roadmaps.
  • Product Development: Identify new product needs and work with Marketing, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D to support product development for key accounts. Address functional and technical aspects of RFQs.
  • Manufacturing: Generate short- and long-term forecasts for revenue and optimize product/volume mix.
  • Marketing Communications: Provide input for promotional, advertising, and communication strategies. Collaborate with Marketing to assess market conditions, conduct benchmarks, and analyze competitors.
  • Competition Analysis: Benchmark products against competitors, monitor competitive forces, and provide market insights to management for necessary actions.
  • Cost Management: Manage costs according to the budget and work cross-functionally to achieve budgeted gross margins.
  • KPI Development: Develop and track KPIs to measure customer satisfaction based on sales targets, reporting achievements periodically.
  • Product and Technology Planning: Identify and plan for products, services, and technology roadmaps that align with customer needs and business goals.
Key Requirements:
  • BS degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in account management.
  • Preferred background in Mechanical or Business Management with commercial training.
  • Direct knowledge of industry-specific standards and quality requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills in English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and possibly in electrical or mechanical fields.
  • Ability to create and execute growth strategies, build relationships, and manage teams.
  • Experience in sales planning, project management, and understanding market dynamics.
  • Capable of traveling up to 50% and demonstrating strong analytical and leadership skills.
