Job Overview
Maximize sales growth in a specified geographical territory, consistent with Company strategy and objectives.Essential Functions

  • May be required to assume responsibility for key customers in highly specialized therapy areas in primary and/or secondary care.
  • Participate in designated company and customer project meetings as required.
  • Within a specified geographical territory, identify target customers whilst maintaining and analysing customer records. Produce an annual territory business plan.
  • Conduct sales interviews, carry out pre-call planning and preparation and develop a self analytical approach in order to identify learning areas from each call. Complete relevant training courses.
  • Maintain records in the reporting system and produce reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Effectively utilize the designated Electronic Territory Management System to maintain records updated and to report daily calls.
  • Organize and hold group events to optimize business whilst complying with relevant country legislation.
  • Keep Line Manager informed about changes in competitor activities and other market changes.
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales / technical knowledge of speciality and disease areas and relevant publications.
  • Act as product champion for at least 1 product.
  • Share experiences, ideas and techniques in order to assist with the sales training of colleagues.
  • Project a professional impression of the Company and act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Practice.
  • Ensure the reporting of any identified Adverse Events in line with prevailing process and guidelines.
  • Optimize company profitability by achieving targets related to the volume and frequency of customer contacts as set by the Line Manager.
  • Act as a mentor for new recruits and provide locum support for the team in Line Manager\xe2\x80\x99s absence.
  • Complete Sales program relevant to the country or project.
  • Actively contribute in new starter training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree Life Sciences or related field Req
  • 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 varied experience in a range of customer types and therapy areas; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
  • Possession of any required industry qualification essential to function as a Medical Representative in the relevant market. Req
  • Good understanding of Pharma Market and related procedures
  • Network of relationships with health representatives in the requested specialty segment.
  • Good product knowledge.
  • MS Office skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with high level decision makers/opinion leaders in the relevant market.
  • Ability to conduct face to face presentations to customers.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage own workload.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
