The Key Account Manager (KAM) in LeasAsia is responsible for managing commercial relationships with major retail (O2O) and/or distribution customers. The job description for this role is not limited to the following responsibilities: What will you be doing: - Identify, develop, and contract in product supply delivery relationships with key customers. - Understand customer needs and requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet these needs. - Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to ensure mutual benefit and profitability. - Manage annual negotiations, including trading terms and conditions, to facilitate sales agreements and achieve targeted margins. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular communication and meetings. - Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, supply chain, etc.) to ensure internal and customer needs are met. - Monitor and analyse market trends and customer purchasing behaviour to identify new sales opportunities. - Provide regular reporting and analysis on key account performance and market trends. - Attend trade shows and events to network and build relationships with customers and industry stakeholders. - Develop and implement customer strategies and supporting processes for LeasAsia customers, including GTM, sales strategies and business planning. - Develop and implement initiatives that ensure collaboration, efficiency gains, engagement and loyalty with our customers whilst being commercially viable. - Set and manage annual planning sessions with customers and quarterly reviews. - Manage and monitor execution performance range, promotion, availability, pricing, share of shelf, etc. and ensure issues are quickly resolved by the team. - Develop deep insights and actionable recommendations from post-evaluation analyses and incorporate into customer strategies. - Develop, monitor and recommend improvement initiatives on business processes, customer services and new techniques (category management, scanning, etc.) Experience and Job Fit: - Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales. - Several years of experience in key account management in the FMCG industry involving retail is required - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to analyse data and market trends to identify new sales opportunities. - Strong commercial awareness and business acumen. - Ability to work independently. - Being a culture ambassador for LeasAsia.
