Job Description


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribution in Business Strategies developing and establishing

  • Promote efficient distribution network and build the capabilities of go to market model.
  • Use effective distribution tools and research data to enhance direct coverage to achieve long term and short- term objectives.
Functional Operations Management
  • Operations observation and analysis:
  • Endorse the achievement of Monthly and Annual targets customer chain.
  • Target setting and monitoring performance per chain per category.
  • Monitor daily performance and suggest action plan to improve the result.
  • Performance tracking though KPIs and risk assessment in business operation.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy is within +5% per customer chain.
  • Coverage, Distribution management
  • Deploy and monitoring the coverage strategy by brand at customer chain level to field force team.
  • Analyze the SWOT matrix per customer chain to propose the best fit solution.
  • Developing and maximizing the opportunities of go to market model.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with Key PH retailers.
  • Visibility and Activation:
  • Secure visibility location through the POSM in pharmacy store per chain.
  • Promote Space Share by working closely with Trade Marketing team to improve effective Trade Activities
  • Oversee the effective implementation of all Trade Activities & activations.
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing team to develop activations to increase recommendations of GSK products.
  • Tracking and reporting competitor activities included new products.
  • Supervise POSM allocation and maximizing the execution in PH chain.
  • Measure distributors Sales Force Effectiveness:
  • Measure volume Target Vs Actual achievement per customer chain by monthly.
  • Monitor EDGE KPIs of dedicated field force team in the field as GSK plan/strategy.
  • Field force activities shall be followed GSK value and compliance in a daily basis.
Financial & Budget Management
  • Monitor the gross to net budget by category as aligned.
  • Monitor and evaluation of post promotion per pharmacy chain.
  • Monitor T&E expenses as per company policy.
Field Force team management.
  • Oversight the dedicated team of Distributor are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws.
  • Oversight and recommend the Distributor for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; talent, retention, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, compliance of direct reporting staff.
Quality & Compliance Management
  • Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation and protect and develop the company\'s brands in accordance to the Marketing Code.
  • Be responsible for ethical policy & standards, compliance, crisis management within function.
Internal & External Customer Satisfaction & Communication
  • Build strong relationship with key personnel of Key Customers like Key Accounts and Sub-Distributors to assist in the development of long-term GSK partnerships, customer satisfaction and add value to customers to help build GSK business.
  • Build and maintain interdepartmental relationship to ensure smooth cooperation and effective internal quality across departments & units.
  • Plan and manage internal communication and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities within the function.
COMPLEXITY: (degree of change & uncertainty; level of influencing required; degree of matrix working)
  • Participate and influence in Field Force Team Meetings
  • Lead, Participate and influence in Regional Team Meetings
SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE: (breadth & depth across disciplines / functions; expertise in field required)
  • Bachelors degree of Marketing / Business/ Economics.
  • At least 5 years experience in brand management, sales, trade marketing
  • Excellent English Written and Communication skills
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
