Kitchen steward
We are seeking a diligent Kitchen Steward to join our Resort. In this role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, contributing to a seamless kitchen operation. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces in compliance with health and safety standards
Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, working collaboratively with the culinary team
Manage dishwashing operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and kitchenware, placing orders as necessary
Support the team in organizing and storing food products to maintain quality and safety
Participate in regular training to stay updated on food handling and sanitation practices
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen
Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
