KueMue is a fast-growing foodtech startup creating compact, user-friendly tools that help home bakers and small businesses produce food more efficiently. From dough dispensers to customizable molds, we design practical, real-world innovations that empower creators and foodpreneurs.
As we scale our product range and manufacturing capacity, we're looking for a
hands-on and innovative Electronic & Electrical Engineering Intern
to join our product and engineering team.
Role Overview
This internship is ideal for electronic and electrical engineering students who want real-world exposure to product development -- from circuit design to prototyping and integration. You will work closely with our founder, engineers, and designers to develop meaningful tools for real users.
What You'll Do
Electronics Design & Development
Assist in the design and development of electronic circuits and systems for new products
Develop schematic diagrams and assist in PCB layout for prototypes and production units
Select and source appropriate components for designs, balancing cost, performance, and availability
Prototyping & Testing
Build and test electronic prototypes using breadboards, soldering, and measurement tools
Program and integrate microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, or similar) with sensors and actuators
Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and improving circuit reliability and performance
Collaboration & Research
Join brainstorming sessions and technical discussions with cross-functional teams
Research electronic components, design solutions, and safety considerations for consumer products
Stay updated on trends in embedded systems, IoT, and compact consumer electronics
Requirements
Diploma/Degree student in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or related field
Familiar with schematic design software (Eagle, Altium, KiCad, or similar)
Basic understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators
Able to read datasheets and communicate design considerations clearly
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from real-world projects
Bonus if you:
Have experience with PCB design and fabrication
Know how to program microcontrollers (C/C++, Arduino IDE, or Python for embedded systems)
Have integrated electronics with mechanical or mechatronic systems
Have experience with IoT, wireless modules, or battery-powered devices
What You'll Gain
Real experience developing electronic products that go into production
A portfolio of tangible circuit designs, PCBs, and prototype integrations
Mentorship from startup founders and engineers
Potential conversion to a full-time role after graduation
Allowance + performance bonus (based on contribution)
Friendly, innovation-driven work environment (and unlimited coffee)
