Industrial Design / Product Design Intern

to join our innovation team.

Role Overview

This internship is perfect for design students who want to experience the full product development cycle -- from idea to sketch, to prototype, to production. You'll work closely with our founder, engineers, and designers to develop meaningful tools for real users.

What You'll Do

Product Design & Development

Assist in the creation of new product concepts, focused on function, form, and user-friendliness Translate sketches and ideas into detailed 3D CAD models and renderings Help prepare technical drawings and visual presentations for internal and manufacturing use

Prototyping & Testing

Build and test prototypes using 3D printing and other tools Participate in hands-on testing and iteration to improve usability and reliability Support DFM (Design for Manufacturing) by learning how to optimize designs for production

Collaboration & Ideation

Join brainstorming sessions and design discussions with cross-functional teams Research materials, mechanisms, and case studies to inform smarter designs Stay updated on trends in industrial design, home appliances, and food innovation

Requirements

Diploma/Degree student in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Mechanical Engineering Familiar with CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar) Good eye for detail, functionality, and human-centered design Able to sketch and communicate ideas clearly Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from real-world projects

Bonus if you:

Have experience with 3D printing or hands-on prototyping Know how to use tools like KeyShot, Blender, or Adobe Creative Suite Have designed for plastic parts, small appliances, or consumer products
