You will be responsible for collecting samples following established protocols, conducting precise laboratory analyses using various physical and chemical testing methods.Key responsibilities

• Meticulously follow sampling plans to ensure representative samples are obtained for testing.
• Conduct physical and chemical tests according to established procedures, utilizing your knowledge of testing methodologies.
• Analyze test results and promptly report any out-of-specification findings to the Quality Assurance Executive for further action.
• Effectively communicate test results to production supervisors, facilitating quick corrective measures when necessary.
• Perform daily calibrations of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Prepare solutions according to established protocols, ensuring proper handling and storage of chemicals.
• Maintain the cleanliness of your workstation, sampling points, and the retained samples room.
• Participate in company Food Safety, Quality (FSQ), and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities, upholding our commitment to compliance.
• Be willing to take on additional tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum of SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent qualification.
• 2-3 years of experience in a quality control, testing, or quality assurance role. (Previous food industry experience is a plus!)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
