Coordinates translation, interpretation, and production projects assigned to internal and external resources
Reviews and approves the translation, interpretation and production work completed by internal and external resources
Provides translation and interpretation services, including other duties as assigned
Supports digital media production and broadcast events on a needed basis. Manages ad hoc media projects, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and liaises with media providers for contracting and project management
Qualifications:
Fluency in spoken and written English and Malay. Iban is preferred
Bachelor\'s degree (preferably in linguistics, translation, media or a related field), with at least 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in translation, interpretation and media
Expertise in translation and skills in writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and syntax of written Malay and English
Strong Malay and English interpretation skills; simultaneous interpretation experience is strongly preferred
Keen ability to manage external vendors and deliver constructive feedback when developing creative content
Proven skills in project management, time management, interpersonal communication, problem solving and the ability to work under pressure
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with operating systems and Microsoft Office with basic knowledge of graphic design, media production and language recording
Ability to navigate through translation and business management tools, CAT tools, and web interfaces
