Job Description
Our client is a reputable company in the publishing industry. In order to support the company\'s rapid growth and continuous improvement, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as the Legal Counsel.
Job Responsibilities
- To draft, prepare, review and advise on agreements, contracts and other documents with legal repercussions.
- To identify unauthorized uses of the Group\'s IP and to execute notice and takedown protocols.
- To handle all trademark and copyright matters.
- To liaise with and instruct external lawyers.
- To generally provide legal advice and assistance to the Group.
- Minimum a bachelor\'s degree in law or equivalent.
- At least 5 to 6 years\' experience in a private legal practice.
- Proficient in drafting various types of contracts.
- Good understanding of royalties, copyright, intellectual property.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a high level of integrity and confidentially.
- Enjoy creative problem solving.
- Resourceful and able to work independently.
