Lifting Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and oversee all lifting activities to ensure compliance with lifting plans, safety procedures, and relevant standards. Ensure that all cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories are certified and in good working condition before use. Verify the competency and certification of crane operators, riggers, and signalmen. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings before lifting operations. Prepare, review, and approve lifting plans and risk assessments. Coordinate with site engineers, safety officers, and subcontractors to ensure safe execution of lifting works. Monitor weather conditions and stop lifting activities if unsafe conditions arise. Report any lifting incidents, near misses, or equipment malfunctions immediately. Maintain proper documentation and records related to lifting activities. Ensure all lifting operations are carried out according to company and regulatory HSE requirements.

Requirements:



Diploma / Certificate in Engineering, Construction, or related field. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in lifting operations at construction or industrial sites. Valid

Lifting Supervisor Certificate

from a recognized training body (e.g., DOSH, CIDB, or equivalent). Knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work in a high-risk environment and enforce safety compliance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM4,600.00 per month

Work Location: In person
