Job Description

My client, a British MNC that specializes in the construction material industry is currently looking for a Production Line Manager to join their team in Perak.The Production Line Manager will oversee the daily operations of the production line, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves managing a team of production workers, coordinating with other departments, and implementing process improvements to meet production targets.Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the production line staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and downtime is minimized.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, logistics, and procurement, to ensure smooth production operations.
• Address any issues or delays in the production process promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Line Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of production management software and tools.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
