Our client is a well-established MNC Manufacturer based in Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang, Johor. Industry: Manufacturing/Production (Building Materials) Working Hour: Monday to Friday Summary of the role: Propose shipping schedule matching replenishment orders triggered by market. Manage container shipping with responsibility from the factory until the destination port. Handle relevant documentation along the process. Act as point of contact between internal team in Malaysia and freight forwarder. Validate freight spent via pre-invoicing and invoice validation. Control and manage freight spend through improvement projects. Organize loading at the plant to match vessel departure date creating as less disruptions as possible in the warehouse and container yard. Report regularly on activity and performance to allow efficient collaboration within the plant and with markets. Be the point of contact in case of claims from export markets. Perform other related duties as assigned or required by the superiors. Requirements: Min. 3 years of relevant working experience in logistics/shipping function or relevant. Preferably with experience in international shipment workscope or relevant. Min. Diploma education level or above. Required language - English.
