Job Position - LOGISTIC EXECUTIVE

• Oversea shipping activities and ensure all custom related matters are being executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with procurement team to solve operational problems and to bring in materials as per Purchase Order terms
• Negotiate best rate with shipping line companies/forwarding agents and issuance of Purchase Order.
• Ensure all duty exemptions are kept in an orderly manner (i.e LMW, MITI, MIDA application etc).
• Apply in timely manner for those new import materials which are not listed in LMW list and ensure it has been approved prior shipment
• Datelines for renew and quantities exemptions are to be reviewed from time to time.
• To liaise with custom to apply SIRIM/COA.
• Cost analysis / preferential certificate of origin application
• Prepare LMW report for Malaysia customs (raw materials & finished goods).
• Handle duty exemption application.
• Ensure shipping procedures comply with national and international rules and regulations enforced in Malaysia.
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by your immediate superior/management from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent
• 7 years and above similar working experiences in oil and gas industry
• Preferably for oil, gas, petrochemical, refining, chemical, mineral processing and pharmaceutical industries
• Responsible, Result Oriented, Interactive, Teamwork
