ROLE AND FUNCTIONS
Assist in contributing to customs operations by actively establishing, optimizing customs system and processes, by coordinating stakeholders, both internal and external across supply chain, to fulfill the goal of availability, low cost and compliance.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist with Customs LMW & IPC (LW) operations as well as the procedures and requirements.
To assist in Inbound transportation and customs related operation of all kinds of materials, spare parts, equipment to be imported.
Familar with all Custom Declarations Forms, Monthly & Annual reports and updates.
To assist in establishing new and optimize existing inbound, import and export customs and operation process relevant to permit issuing agencies for availability and lower cost.
To assist in maintaining local customs database and coordinate tariff usage in connection with Malaysia Customs authorities.
To assist in handling registration and regulatory compliance with relevant other government agencies (MIDA, MITI Eswis), monitor and application of certificate / permit.
To assist in Plant and equipment relocation within plant arrangement made by considering EHS & Security requirements.
Familiarization of Digitalisation & Customs Portal usage and updates.
To assist in Logistics freight quotation inquiry billing and freight cost management including payment application.
To assist in obtaining Logistics freight billing confirmation and payment application.
To assist on initiating and continuously optimizing current working processes to Lean Management of work procedures.
To maintain good reputation/rapport at relavant authorities (i.e. Customs).
To establish and maintain working relationships with inbound & outbound domestic carriers.
To assist in reviewing and responding to internal and external service performance and interact with carriers regarding issues.
Fulfil any other task as and when assigned by the Management.
To follow or to adhere all procedures related to the Company's EMS Policies in-line with ISO14001:2015 & ISO9001:2015 policies.
