Our client is one of the Malaysia?s largest leading food importer and distributer and is looking for a Logistics Manager to be located in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. Responsibilities : Manage the total company logistics and distribution to deliver high customer service level at optimum cost and accountable for logistic cost savings achievement and improvement. Plan and optimize the daily truck route for the fleet of trucks in the company, based on customers? delivery schedule. Manage and guide a team of logistics personnel. Maintain the company?s trucks in good condition through scheduled maintenance and ensure the fleet of trucks comply with local laws. Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries, space utilization and identify improvements. Ensure that goods are delivered on time, at optimum cost and according to customers? requirements with no errors. Ensure that stock is stored properly and movement of goods are recorded and tracked systematically. Ensure high staff productivity and logistics costs are within budget. Requirements : Experience: Must have at least 5 Years of logistics experience. Must be experienced in handling delivery by trucks and able to optimize the daily trucking route. Must have experience in handling maintenance of trucks. The ideal candidate should be between 30 to 50 years old. Languages: able to speak English, Chinese & BM. Those with some warehouse operations experience will have an added advantage. Willing to work in Glenmarie area. Benefits: 5 days week, performance bonus, insurance, medical, etc.
