We are representing our client the largest integrated logistics service provider to look for potential candidate to fill the role as Logistics / Supply Chain Solutions Expert
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Solution Design & Capability Building

  • Analyze current logistics infrastructure and business requirements to design end-to-end supply chain solutions that support business growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the companys logistical reach, specifically building capabilities in Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Fulfillment, and Last Mile delivery.
  • Lead the selection, onboarding, and management of Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, freight forwarders, and last-mile carriers to create a competitive vendor network.
International Freight Management (Air & Sea)
  • Design and manage international transportation flows (Import/Export), optimizing for cost, speed, and reliability.
  • Negotiate rates and service level agreements (SLAs) with airlines, shipping lines, and global freight forwarders.
  • Develop consolidation strategies to maximize container/cargo space utilization and reduce per-unit freight costs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, ensuring visibility from origin factory to destination port/warehouse.
Fulfillment & Warehousing Optimization
  • Design standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fulfillment centers
  • Optimize warehouse layouts and workflows to support high-volume B2B and B2C operations
  • Implement or optimize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure real-time data synchronization and operational efficiency.
Last Mile Delivery Network * Build a resilient last-mile delivery network by integrating a mix of national carriers, local couriers, and on-demand delivery services.
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), First Attempt Delivery Rate, and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
  • Drive initiatives to improve the "unboxing experience" and delivery speed for end-customers
Trade Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all international shipments comply with global trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation standards
  • Stay updated on international trade laws
  • Proactively identify supply chain risks
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP/CLTD, CIPS, or Six Sigma) are a strong plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in logistics solution design, freight forwarding, or supply chain management
  • Proven track record of building logistics networks from scratch or significantly improving existing setups
  • Deep operational knowledge of Air and Ocean freight markets, including pricing structures and routing
  • Hands-on experience with Fulfillment and Last Mile logistics is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade compliance, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
  • Proficiency in Logistics software (WMS, TMS, ERP systems like SAP/Oracle/NetSuite).
  • Advanced Excel/Data Analysis skills for modeling costs and simulating network scenarios
