Review and prepare technical specifications, drawings, and regulations for M&E systems.
Perform engineering calculations and provide technical support for design and installation.
Monitor site progress, prepare reports, and update the Project Manager regularly.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors on technical matters (method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, etc.).
Prepare method statements, shop drawings, QA/QC documents, T&C reports, work progress records, and other relevant documentation.
Ensure the quality and timely installation of M&E works according to approved drawings and schedules.
Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input to resolve project issues.
Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Supervise daily site work, inspect contractor workmanship, and keep proper records of inspections.
Conduct and witness testing and commissioning of M&E systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
Liaise with authorities, subcontractors, and clients on submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
Perform any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by management or the Project Manager.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
in M&E coordination, site supervision, or similar engineering roles.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Experience in method statements, shop drawings, QA/QC documentation, and T&C procedures is an advantage.
Familiar with local authorities' submission processes and requirements.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering-related software.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Able to work independently, multitask, and solve technical/site challenges.
Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites when necessary.
Immediate or short-notice availability will be an added advantage.
