Core Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of duties to operate and support machining and fabrication processes, including but not limited to CNC milling, CNC grinding, EDM (Wirecut/Sinker), press, shot peening, and seal fabrication, to manufacture aircraft engine parts IAW technical documents.
• Understand and adhere to all work instructions associated with the work you are performing.
• Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties. (Proper PPE).
• Perform jobs in priority order unless instructed otherwise.
• Perform and complete the operation you are performing IAW the required technical data referred to in your job traveler. (Operation sheets, engine manuals, OEM SPM's, written instructions from engineering).
• Assist engineering with new part development if necessary/required.
• Provide trainings to others when required/necessary.
• Report nonconformance's related to parts, paperwork, equipment, tooling or materials to the immediate Cell Leader.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.

Qualifications:

• 0 - 5 years of similar duties in the aerospace environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical document
• Skilled in the use of micrometers, calipers, verniers, gauge blocks, radius gauges, gauge pins and visual aids.
• Basic shop math, read, write, and interpret English, effectively utilize lifting devices, ability to interpret travelers and work instructions, ability to verify log and procedures for accuracy
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Good communications skills
