Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facilities to ensure minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Monitor equipment performance and carry out regular inspections to identify potential issues.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines or equipment modifications.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repair logs, and spare parts usage.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment-related disruptions.
Assist in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a
Diploma
in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Chargeman License (A4/A0 or relevant) is preferred.
3-5 years of working experience
in equipment/maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting PLC, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Willing to work in shifts or respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5.30pm
Salary: Up to RM5000
