Develop and maintain relationships with overseas agents, airlines, suppliers, and customers.
Lead, train, and manage the export/import team to maximize performance and job satisfaction.
Negotiate rates with airlines and suppliers.
Verify invoices against GP job listings and ensure timely billing per company policy.
Maintain and improve quality standards for export/import operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
Master the export/import process and actively support the team.
Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients to maintain the customer base.
Establish strong working relationships with suppliers and contribute to team development.
Develop, review, maintain, and implement ISO procedures
Manage customer contacts through calls and visits, handling queries and assisting in quotation preparation.
Coordinate collections and deliveries.
Assist in accounts receivable functions.
Requirements:
Minimum of
5 years
of relevant work experience in air or sea freight industry
Good Knowledge of customs regulations
and
customs tariff
Familiar with and well able to work within the Import/export process
Knows supplier conditions, deliver terms, Inco terms and purchasing conditions
Knows risk and Insurance terms
Familiar with and able to work with the company's quality and environmental policies
Good knowledge of computer system, both Import/exports and invoicing
Good communication skills and able to manage own working time effectively
Financial awareness
Knowledge of service levels expected by clients- able to deliver them
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
