Job Description

The purpose of this role is to drive the overall Modern On-Trade strategy and operations for Carlsberg Malaysia. This includes strategy, planning, development and implementation of marketing and channel programs to ensure meeting of channel objectives.

Responsibilities:

Channel Development

• Develop channel strategies and translate into execution plan
• Drive the implementation of Channel PICoS (Picture of Success)
• Integrate Brand objectives, Channel plan, Customer plan by working closely with the key stakeholders
• Partner with sales to win, retain and bring Carlsberg\'s portfolio of brands to life in the channel
• Track, analyze and review channel performance, and make recommendations

Operations Excellence

• Manage channel spend effectiveness and within budget
• Manage Trade Marketing fund to maximize growth and ROI
• Ensure strong follow up follow through and rapport building with customers in partnership with sales stakeholders
• Manage national marketing activities for the channel and channel initiatives implementation, follow up & post mortem
• Challenge objectively to improve ways of working and deliver better result

People Development

• Demonstrate and promote the triple As\' values - Alignment, Accountable and Action
• Coaching, guiding and providing clear direction to his/her team member in achieving the same KPIs
• Groom and develop his/her team member by following through the development conversations and actions

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Business or similar
• Minimum 5 years\' experience within channel marketing management in FMCG industry
• People leadership experience of minimum 2 years
• Familiar with Modern On-trade business & customers
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, as well as strategic thinking and business acument
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Innovative and systematic person with sound analytical skills
• High work capacity and team-oriented
• Action-oriented, persistent and a change driver
• Passion in the beer industry
