Oversee and monitor the procurement and contractual management of Client Office KUL\'s project. The contract manager\'s task is to ensure consistent management of all proposals and contracts.
This generally includes oversight of the contract, evaluating, negotiating and maintaining the correspondence and documentation related to contracts. The appointed manager will serve as a primary contact of reference for contract related matters and able to provide contract advisory as per business requirement.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Oversight contract management process, as well as development of specific standards for bidding and submission, contract negotiation and document management.
To ensure the contract delivery is within budget, specification as per business requirement and delivered as per agreed timeline.To review and check contractors claims and prepare certificate of progress payment/ professional fees/ Supervision fees for the contractors as well as consultants.
To review contractual performance to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.
To review, check and prepare all the statements of Final Account & Contractual Certificates as required in the Contract.
To maintain deadlines and deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.
To engage relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards and cost targets.
