The Contract Management Senior Executive for Asset Replacement Program Baggage (ARP) Handling Systems (BHS), KL International Airport project will provide expertise in the management and administration of cost and contracts of the ARP BHS in large scale environment. The appointed Contract Management Senior Executive will be the focal point for assessing, reviewing, advising, recommending and overseeing the implementation of the ARP BHS from the aspect of cost and contract administration.
ESSENTIAL POSTITION FUNCTIONS
The appointed Contract Management Senior Executive must be able to perform all tasks on a project relating to cost and contract administration which include: -
To ensure understanding and the management of contracts;
To assist the Contract Manager in reviewing, evaluating and advising on all pre- and post-contract phase relating to cost and contract matters during the ARP BHS project implementation;
To liaise with the project team and participate in the meetings, examine drafts, and file correspondence having a contractual relevance exchanged during project execution with consultants, contractors and subcontractors, authorities, and stakeholders;
To assist and provide recommendation to Contract Manager / Project Manager on aspects of ARP BHS execution which deviate from cost and contract requirements and maintain compliance of the contracts;
To assist the Contract Manager in managing the change order process from identification to resolution of change: prepare, interfacing with involved functions, and evaluate all claims against Client Office KLIA and stakeholders;
To support the Contract Manager in negotiations of claims, variations, changes, and disputes with the Turnkey Contractor in collaboration with Project Management, Legal Department and others as required;
To facilitate contract life cycle management from planning to execution;
To ensure communications between the Client Office KLIA and Turnkey Contractor are consistent with terms and conditions in the contract;
To support the Contract Manager in managing contract milestone and close-out activities and to act as a liaison and coordinator amongst key stakeholders; and
