Job Purpose

The role\'s primary duty is to make time, information and decision-making of the Group CEO more effective.

Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Group CEO\'s office to enable the Group CEO to focus on business growth, strategic priorities and delivery of his responsibilities. This role will also play an important role in supporting the Senior Leaders to deliver on their broader goals.

The role will report directly to the Head, Group CEO\'s Office and work closely with the executive team, the Executive Assistants and the Senior Leaders.

Key Responsibilities * Ensure coordination and integration across the organisation as well as managing his / her preparations for key meetings.

  • Work with relevant parties on communications with all stakeholders eg craft key messaging and presentation for annual strategic meetings, town halls, quarterly financial results, drafting of speeches, etc.
  • Manage events (internal and external) with the working teams across the Group.
  • Facilitate and support the annual budget and business plan review process including managing the Senior Leaders\' offsites.
  • Support Head, Group CEO\'s Office in driving and managing special tasks and projects on behalf of the Group CEO.
  • Work with the Communications team on building and protecting individual brand and profile of Group CEO which could involve maintaining a social media presence for him /her, choosing prominent events to speak at, etc.
  • Provide administrative and research support to the Group CEO.
  • Link Group CEO and Senior Leaders with the broader organisation, #teamCIMB.
  • Facilitate and manage Group CEO\'s budget requirements and monitor accordingly.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree and/or Masters degree / Professional Qualifications from a recognised University
  • 5-6 years of experience with at least 4 years in the financial services industry
  • Preferably with more than 3-4 years experience in CIMB, which is adequate to build an internal network (an important plus point to have in this role)
  • Good understanding of the financial services industry
  • Good set of problem solving skills
  • Good appreciation of banking practices, products and regulatory environment
  • Well-versed with our internal policies and procedures
  • Good interpersonal skills with staff and external stakeholders at all levels to build an extensive network and maintain excellent relationships with the Senior Leaders
  • Well-developed project management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • The ability to remain calm in high stress situations
  • High level of maturity, forward thinking and self-discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to draft speeches, presentations and to conduct meetings
  • Good powerpoint skills, required in guiding and assisting teams in putting slides together for the Group CEO
  • Proven effective team work and time management skills to meet deadlines
