Job Description




Our client is a well-known property development firm. In order to support rapid and aggressive expansion, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as the Assistant Manager / Manager - Land Acquisition.

Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with management to evaluate potential land acquisitions, disposals, and development opportunities.
  • Liaise and work closely externally with real estate agents or valuers.
  • To provide vital information to the Management by conducting strategic analysis, market research, evaluation in order to assess the viability and alignment of potential deals with the company\'s objectives.
  • To work with relevant departments on preparing cost budgeting for all new developments related proposals.
  • Alert in monitoring of market opportunities and risk, conduct analysis on market sizing and competitions, establishes appropriate alliances and networks.
  • To build and nurture business relationships, prepares proposals, prepares presentation and follow up closely to achieve company\'s objectives.
  • Work closely internally with project, finance, legal, development, and other departments to ensure alignment between property valuations and overall business objectives & requirements.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and update internal processes accordingly.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as maybe assigned by the superior or Company.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\'s degree in Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
  • At least 8 year (s) of relevant working experience in property industry in Malaysia context.
  • Registered Valuer with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents, and Property Managers Malaysia (BOVAEA) will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Familiarity with the local property market trends and regulations.
