Job Description


OBJECTIVES OF POSITION 1. Responsible for managing re-valuation exercises for the existing portfolio.
2. Responsible for managing valuation\xe2\x80\x99s scope for new acquisition and disposal.
3. To lead for internal market intelligence and forecasting. RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION

  • To compile information related to proposals received or under consideration and to undertake investment analysis for each of the proposal.
  • To lead for due diligence exercise of the proposed asset acquisition / disposal.
  • To attend site visit for acquisition proposals \xe2\x80\x93 to ensure all information such as the list of tenancy, occupancy, specifications, tenure, building plan, etc are obtained as well as determining whether the suitability of the property to be acquired.
  • To undertake internal feasibility analysis of the proposed acquisition.
  • To prepare relevant information for the preparation of proposal for presentation to Board and Investment Committee meetings.
  • To prepare regular market intelligence report for internal purposes.
  • To prepare fact sheet for properties to be disposed/ acquired.
  • To arrange for valuation and re-valuation of properties with external valuers.
\xc2\xb7 To liaise with valuers for indicative valuation. \xc2\xb7 To liaise with financiers, solicitors and vendors, as and when required.
  • Any other ad hoc assignments / projects as required by the Management.
QUALIFICATION /EXPERIENCE
  • Degree/Professional Degree in Real Estate Management/ Property Management or its equivalent from university recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
  • Minimum of seven (7) year(s) of working experience in property related industry particularly in valuation, investment and market research with three (3) years in supervisory roles.
  • Know how the technicality of property valuation is the main priority.
  • Require fair understanding about the overall property market.
  • Experience in property valuation.
  • Strong business acumen as well as analytical skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with internal and external parties.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
  • Property Valuation Analysis.
  • Market Intelligence Report.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Basic knowledge about local REIT industry.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
