Hong Leong Bank is undergoing a transformation journey where our products & services will be driven by an AI/ML strategy. Communications with our customers are contextual, relevant, and engaging. This role is pivotal in supporting this objective, as the successful candidate will be a key contributor to ensure all campaigns are developed based on data-backed insights and employing modern marketing methods.
Functional Job Responsibilities:
Lead a team of analysts to produce end-to-end business campaigns, from campaign proposal to fulfilment & monitoring, with every proposal tying back to a main objective of producing variations in customer journeys based on analytical findings on each customer.
Robust understanding in advanced analytics & statistics, with the aim to facilitate a productive working relationship with the Data Science Lab, and subsequently translate technical & rigorous analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93 effectively bridging barriers between technical data scientists and business lines.
Effectively communicate & visualise data-driven insights with bank-wide stakeholders, providing guidance on how to formulate effective and engaging campaign journeys that include every possible customer touchpoint across different channels.
Provide weekly & monthly review on effective campaign mechanics, shifting consumer trends, market movements \xe2\x80\x93 in order to unlock organic growth, including but not limited to up-selling & cross-selling opportunities in each customer journey.
Work with cross-functional departments to enhance existing & future analytics tools & platforms, balancing stakeholder needs with data accuracy/integrity to ensure business value in every initiative.
Identify inefficient marketing strategies & propose solutions to turn traditional campaigns into always-on customer journeys with real-time data tracking, in order to reach an objective where segmentation analysis can be granularized into one single customer (Segment of One marketing).
Supervise the execution, monitoring, and measurement of marketing campaigns in relation to bank-wide targets.

Groom & upskill talent and develop a career roadmap for each analyst, ensuring that the team is consistently on an upward trajectory towards a data-driven future.
Manage the team:
Upskill & maintain stability in a team that is aligned to \xe2\x80\x93 and focused towards \xe2\x80\x93 projects with the highest business impact.
Drive accountability with a clear effort/reward system without prejudice. Step in to manage stakeholders as and when required, while ensuring that team members are also capable to manage cross-functional stakeholders themselves when faced with temporary operational gaps.
Lead by example by establishing a positive and healthy working environment.
Guide the Team:
Guide the team on customer journey development, creation, and validation of unique insights, dive deeper into key campaign drivers, consumer behaviour, market segmentation, to ensure an effective campaign output.
Provide thought leadership on how to review campaign proposals for business value, contrasting effort and time spent, and tying back to an overarching objective of always-on customer journey.
Provide value-added recommendations and suggestions during the campaign consultation phase and how to interpret campaign performance, draw conclusions that are actionable and insightful.
Operational Job Responsibilities:
To ensure alignment to the Division and Bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategic intent and goals for each Financial Year.
To drive bank-wide campaign performance to achieve the target set by the department.
Job Requirements:
Educational Requirements:
Degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, or related disciplines.

Experience Requirements:
7 years & more of employment experience on improving business processes through human capital & technology.
Possess a strong analytical background that can translate insights into business strategy. Comfortable working with data and making data-driven decisions utilising multiple sources of information.
Ability to succinctly articulate and visualise analytical findings to senior management. Good interpersonal, communication skill and strong influencing ability is highly crucial.
Familiarity with project management frameworks, and proven work experience in leading a team of analysts.
Experience in SQL, Python AI/ML development, Tableau, UiPath & RPA, is a long-term advantage.
Track record of driving business value through the integration of data analytics and business strategies, resulting in improved operational efficiency, revenue growth, and competitive advantage.
Ability to juggle multiple work streams, filter, evaluate, and prioritise solutions.
