JOB PURPOSE

Taylor\'s Hostel Management (THM) strives to be Malaysia\'s leading student accommodation provider through strategic brand management of its proprietary Resident Welfare Support programme.

We are looking for an In-house Multimedia Services and Communications Manager to lead our multi-platform communications digital assets including broadcast, web, social media, and print. Oversees and coordinates graphic design, copywriting, production, and printing processes for THM and its clients. The person will also assist in all other communications, promotions and all sales and marketing related activities.

OUTCOME MEASUREMENTS

• Produce high quality of output in all areas related to the web, content, design, print and interactive applications, whether on his own or through appointed agencies.
• Ensure web applications, digital media and content production is in alignment with THM and its clients business goals and targets

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, manage and train a small team of marketers and content developers
• Lead the development and maintenance of THM and its clients\' websites, whether through appointed agencies or otherwise
• Lead digital content production (images and video) for THM and it\'s clients
• Lead the design, development, and production of print media, signages and advertisements
• Provide creative input on internal and external business presentations and concept papers
• Participate in the design, planning and execution of marketing activities including events, eCommerce, and multi-channel services.
• Implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for producing web media content

JOB SPECIFICATION

MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

• At least five (5) years of work experience in a Marketing and/or brand-building role
• Tertiary education with degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Communication
• Proficient in video pre-production and post-production, and design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc)

RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Strong technical grasp and knowledge with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro
• Strong knowledge with social media and Internet publishing tools such as YouTube, WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google Analytics, etc.

• Resourceful, able to work with various Internet publishing and project management software
