POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To lead, plan, manage, coordinate, organise, supervise, control and monitor approved CAPEX projects : ensuring smooth project implementation, adhering to contract specification, work with the apporved budget and specified timeline whilst maintaining good quality, site safety and health practices.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To plan and assist with yearly operational CAPEX budget based on airports budget owners.
• To manage, monitor, coordinate, supervise and assist MAHB / MA (Sepang) / MASB approved CAPEX projects that are carried out all year round : inclusive of relevant works preparation during the pre-tender, post-tender, construction and completion stage.
• To constantly liaise with consultant, contractors and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure any CAPEX projects carried out are completed within the expected time, cost and quality.
• To register and carry out monitoring works during the defects liability period of any completed projects.
• To assist with preparation of weekly report compilation of projects.
• To carry out any technical assistance on other support facilities as required by immediate superior on a timely basis.

• Experience in project management with exposure in managing project initiation, planning and execution.
• Project and Contract Management.

• Well verse in Airport Operational Procedures.
• Ability to effectively delegate while maintaining forward motion on key deliverables;
• Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships;;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent business and technical writing;
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Strong mentoring, training and coaching to junior colleagues.
• Comfortable and Capable of Leading Teams;
• Capable of Managing Cross Functional Teams and Multiple Projects;
• Capable of reading drawings and schematics;

Relevant Industries

Unique Requirement

• Experience in Project Management
• Experience in M&E Works
• A professional Engineer registered with local or international body of engineering.

External

• Degree with minimum 8 years experience and Project Management with exposure in managing technical requirements and best practice in engineering.

Education

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Structural)
