Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation requirements. Ensure all dishes are delivered on time and consistently meet quality, taste, and visual standards. Assist in menu preparation, ingredient portioning, and mise en place before each service. Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the kitchen. Monitor ingredient inventory and promptly report shortages or spoilage to the superior. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items to maintain freshness and reduce waste. Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions or hazards immediately. Support kitchen assistants and coordinate effectively with service staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Comply with all food handling procedures, hygiene guidelines, and company SOPs. Assist in daily closing duties such as cleaning, waste disposal, and stock checks. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Chef or superior.

Job Requirements

Prior experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role is an advantage. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene practices. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Responsible, disciplined, and committed to maintaining food quality and consistency. Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and night shifts. Positive attitude and a strong team-player mindset.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
