Complete the Individual Learning Plan (TCDP Level 1), including Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Web-Based Training (WBT) to acquire core competencies.
Perform Preventive Maintenance on Caterpillar and SDI-supported equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend component life.
Conduct Component Removal & Installation tasks, following procedures and safety guidelines to ensure system functionality.
Execute Technical Analysis Level 1 (TA1) using diagnostic tools and inspections to detect and address faults, minimizing downtime.
Perform Walk Around Inspections to assess equipment condition, identify issues, and support maintenance activities.
Perform equipment inspections using the CAT Inspect app for all attended jobs.
Adhere to Standards of Quality Management (SQM) and cleanliness requirements during maintenance and repairs.
Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment while ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards.
Use appropriate tools (hand, power, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls) safely and efficiently for servicing and repairs.
Complete service-related documentation (Timecards, Sims reports, parts returns) accurately for traceability and reporting.
Refer to service publications for technical guidance to ensure task accuracy and compliance.
Assist in selecting and managing parts to ensure timely job completion and minimize delays.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient coordination and high-quality service delivery.
Communicate effectively within the team to clarify tasks, prioritize work, and update on job status.
Safely load and unload equipment in compliance with SQM and safety protocols.
Monitor labor utilization and productivity to meet departmental targets and optimize efficiency.
Meet Technician monthly revenue targets as defined in the yearly KPI by completing service jobs efficiently.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and Caterpillar systems, applying new knowledge to improve service quality.
Collaborate with the supervisor to create and follow a Career Development Plan for continuous learning and growth.
Be adaptable to additional duties based on business needs, as assigned by management.
