Supervise and coordinate all MEP installation activities on-site, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Execution
Monitor and supervise installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems according to approved drawings and method statements.
Ensure subcontractors and site teams adhere to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
Verify the quality and accuracy of work before testing and commissioning.
Material & Equipment Coordination
Track material delivery, usage, and storage for MEP works.
Ensure proper handling and installation of equipment and components.
Report and escalate material shortages or non-compliance issues to Project Manager.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
Oversee testing, commissioning, and functional verification of MEP systems.
Ensure that all systems meet operational, performance, and safety requirements prior to handover.
Prepare test reports and as-built documentation for submission to clients or authorities.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, codes of practice, and QHSE policies.
Conduct regular inspections and site audits to maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
Identify and rectify non-conformances in coordination with QA/QC teams.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors for smooth execution of MEP works.
Participate in site meetings and provide updates on progress, issues, and proposed solutions.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain up-to-date records of site activities, inspections, material usage, and manpower.
Prepare progress reports, highlight risks or delays, and assist management with decision-making.
Ad-Hoc Tasks
Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager or Senior Engineers to support project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in MEP project supervision (building, industrial, or data center projects preferred).
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, installation methods, and regulatory standards.
Familiarity with site safety practices and QHSE compliance.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
