:Wood is recruiting for a Senior Civil & Structural Designer, preferably experienced in Chemical / Oil & Gas Sector / similar industry. There is an increased thrust to deliver our services for the growing Asian market. As a result of this, Civil & Structural Department operation is expanding and evolving to manage the challenges of regional projects through a global talent pool.Responsibilities:Responsibilities: -

• Familiar with HVAC and other mechanical equipment code and standards such API, ANSI, ASME, ASHRAE, etc.
• In depth knowledge of HVAC system equipment.
• Ability to prepare and review HVAC system calculations.
• Able to prepare and review HVAC system deliverable such as specification, datasheet, material requisition and drawings.
• Experience in brownfield and greenfield HVAC design.
• Responsible to prepare HVAC design basis and philosophy.
• Ability to work with HVAC designer and drafter to prepare HVAC drawings and HVAC 3D model.
• Experience in Procurement support activities for HVAC system such as preparation of TBE criteria, TBE evaluation and Report. Experience in vendor data review for HVAC system.
• Familiar with HVAC system control system.
• Ability to prepare other mechanical equipment specification, datasheet and material requisition.
• Should be able to work in team environment and interface with other discipline.
• Willing to prepare deliverables for other mechanical equipment.

Qualifications:Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 10 to 18 years of experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Pharmaceutical Plant Projects.

• Good experience in Aveva E3D and structural steel modeling and 2D detailing.
• Adept and hands on experience with 2D and 3D design/drafting tools such as Autocad, Microstation, TEKLA, Navisworks, SPR, etc.
• Experience in 3D model setup, report and templete setup for drawings and MTO extraction
• Thorough knowledge of Civil / Structural design / detailing for pipe racks and all types of equipment support structures, such as for Vessels, Exchangers, Tanks, Pumps, Compressors, heaters, Columns, Reactors, Package items, etc. and foundations
• Good understanding of overall plant layout and thorough knowledge of developing Underground, Civil and Structural model with design and detailing capabilities, including concrete reinforcement and steel connection detailing.
• Knowledge in Local Singapore CSA Permitting Requirements and experience in BIM modelling.
