Job Description

Your duties and responsibilities comprises but are not limited to:- - Design, maintain, implement, or improve electrical and electronic instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for our plant factories while exploring relevant opportunities - Spearhead process improvement and/or processing systems to improve productivity and quality, improve sustainability and reduce cost - Provide sustaining engineering support through detailed failure analysis, technical support, alternate component recommendations, documentations revisions, assembly support and training support to resolve issues in a timely manner - Apply Quality Management System in term of efficiency & effectiveness improvement Communicate with vendors to reduce manufacturing costs and feedback to the design of parts that are easy to operate and assembly - Assist in the plant factory expansions, new plant factory planning and set-up - Liaise with relevant authorities, consultants and contractors whenever necessary
Future Farms was founded in 2019 as a company that looked to feed the world in a technological and sustainable manner. Since inception, we have built 3 farms with a collective size of 15,000 SQ FT and up to 500,000 KG of annual vegetable production. The company currently employs 20 people within Malaysia. We utilise Controlled-Environment Agriculture, in which we create isolated chambers equipped with a variety of farming hardware and software that allows us to control the various parameters of Plant Growth. This technology enables us to grow vegetable crops with better and more consistent crop yield, nutrition and hygiene while reducing resource use and environmental harm.
