Position: Metrology TechnicianCompany Industry: Construction & Maintenance for aerospace componentWorking Location: P202, P203 And Part P204, Precinct 2, Jalan Fz3-P2, Port Klang Free Zone/Ks12, 42920 Pulau Indah, SelangorWorking hours: 8 hours (multi-shift work)Working duration: 6 Months (can be extended until 24 months, then there\'s a possibility to convert to permanent based on performance)Salary: RM3,000 to RM4,500Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, programming, and managing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the highest standards of precision and accuracy in our measurements and inspections.Key Responsibilities:- Operate CMM Machines: Utilize CMM machines to measure and inspect various components with a highdegree of accuracy.- Programming: Develop and execute CMM programs for complex geometries and ensure they meetindustry and ASTM standards.- Quality Control: Perform detailed inspections and measurements, analyze data, and preparecomprehensive reports on findings.- Maintenance: Regularly maintain and calibrate CMM machines to ensure optimal performance.- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to CMM operations and measurements.- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, calibrations, and maintenance activities.- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including engineering and production, to ensureseamless integration of CMM processes into overall production workflow.- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance measurementaccuracy, efficiency, and overall quality.Qualifications:- Education: Diploma or degree in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.- Experience: Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience operating and programming CMM machines.- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CMM so7ware and a strong understanding of geometric dimensioning andtolerancing (GD&T).- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Serious applicants may send your resume to
