After an exciting year of growth, mmob is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to drive impact within our purpose-driven start-up. The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will not only be an expert, hands-on developer but will have the ability to drive and mentor our team of software engineers within our Kuala Lumpur office, working closely with the CTO. Your passion for technology, technical ability, communication skills and collaborative approach are important to us.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Join our growing team, working directly with our CTO and founders to build out our award-winning Intelligent Partnership Platform (IPP).
• Design and implement APIs
• Embrace good practices and documentation. We use Swagger/OpenAPI and mkdocs to document our infrastructure and functionalities.
• Develop and deliver features to meet new requirements and functionalities. We use AWS to host our deployments (EKS, Lambda, APIGateway, RDS)
• Manage MySQL database maintaining a high level of security. (We may use Redis soon)
• Take responsibility for code across our stack. We rely on the technologies like

• AWS
• Python and TypeScript
• MySQL, Redis, Redshift
• Kinesis, S3, Amazon Athena
• Kubernetes and Docker
• React, NextJs, Express
• Leading our Tech Team in Malaysia

Requirements

• Full stack background (gained experience developing APIs)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in programming within test-driven development and continuous delivery environments
• Strong experience working on the backend of a technology product

• Knowledge of the development and deployment of a cloud-based architecture across multiple geographies.
• Strong knowledge of different programming languages including Python and Typescript and open to quickly learn new things.
• Ability to define medium-to-long term strategy for business-impacting projects
• Autonomously define and deliver technical roadmaps of larger projects, often involving cross-team dependencies.
• A commitment to well designed and efficient code, always thinking about security and scalability.
• Built and deployed cloud-based services across multiple geographies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems in a digestible way
• Experience and an interest in leading, mentoring and coaching a small team of developers
• Available to come to our office in KL Sentral, 3 days a week
