Objectives of the Position
Provide account management support with Country HR for all inbound and outbound expatriates located in designated APAC key countries.
Ensure global and regional transfer policies are consistently applied
Focus on C&B mobility topics, being the focal point for regional mobility team during annual processes; stay aligned with global mobility team; also connect with regional C&B team to stay up to date on C&B topics at BASF
Optimize the transfer experience for expatriates and support management for any unique requirements.
Support to regional team with the day-to-day running of the business by assisting with projects, administrative tasks, and processes.
Support in leading and guiding team of Mobility Specialists as a team leader
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Manage and coordinate with respective parties in home and host locations on the implemented global mobility policies in Asia Pacific region.
Provide policy guidance to Country HR and HRBP.
Partner with external relocation vendor and suppliers to ensure smooth transfer process for all inbound delegates.
Work with Country HR and HRBP to ensure all necessary information (e.g. salary sheets and contracts have been provide to delegate).
Work with Country HR and HRBP to ensure transfer administrative tasks such as tax reporting, intercompany charging, management reporting and validation of invoices as required are completed.
Act as BASF contact point for Country HR, HRBP, and delegates, answer queries as required and liaise with external vendor as needed.
Responsible for the annual processes for APAC (bonus and merit increase), support other regional consultants and align with global mobility team to ensure a smooth and flawless process and result
Calculate, prepare, and explain the compensation and benefits including hypothetical tax, bonus payments and analysis of salary via salary sheet for delegates and support other regional consultants with this topic
Stay in close touch with the regional BASF C&B team to be aware of regional or global policy changes and other updates; also connect with other C&B mobility experts in the two other GB hubs
Point of contact for the regional team members in administrative tasks, but not limited to, verifying vendor invoices, reviewing and validating of documentations, any calculations touching the Transferees\' mobility package, and GB Portal updates.
Act as regional mobility\'s point of contact on assigned projects.
Ensure effective communications with stakeholders including international assignee population, HR in countries, Global Mobility and business/functional unit representatives
Anticipate and resolve any issues and/or concerns raised by managers and assignees on policies
