The Position Position Summary As an Operational Advisor, your mission is to engage and partner primarily with People & Culture (P&C) colleagues across all Chapters and, where needed, with business stakeholders. Your focus is on delivering state of the art operational support, customized servicing advice, proactive solutions, process improvements and great partner experiences to support in moments that matter. Moreover, you will help to translate business goals into P&C priorities and ensure effective implementation in partnership with other Chapters. Responsibilities Providing operational expertise and consulting stakeholders in moments that matter including the following areas: Providing operational, proactive consultation and guidance on complex changes, servicing requirements and processes such as acquisitions, reorganizations or product launches. Leading squads/teams to provide and implement the end-to-end resolution in complex P&C requests Engaging stakeholders in and outside of P&C to get feedback and find solutions which provide great customer experiences Key contact to own and drive successful resolution of complex/urgent/sensitive requests Leader of squads to plan and execute cross-functional matters or drive improvements Global/regional representative for our organization--able to flex and deliver value in a variety of settings within P&C and PSS Attending Business Partner or other P&C Chapter meetings to engage with and understand the business needs Providing demand forecasting for key events including acquisitions, reorganizations and divestitures Identifying customer requirements and translating these needs to change requests and standard operating processes Proactively identifying process issues and working within our P&C network to drive solutions. Identifying training needs for specific processes/system functionalities and advise or organize training to managers or partners in HR PSS teams, network and communities Network and Dedicated Business Partners Other P&C Chapters and communities Other enabling functions, e.g. Finance, Procurement, IT etc to ensure the solution implementation or improvement PSS peers within the region and global to ensure the PSS network provides consistent and effective services to our customers Who You Are University degree or equivalent, HR preferred 5 years or more experience with HR processes, HR shared services, HR functional expertise, and/or HR generalist know-how Proven experience handling projects involving different stakeholders and regions Fluent in English required, additional languages a plus Strong customer orientation with proven experiences, service delivery management, HR process design or employee administration in a shared services environment Analytical thinking and pragmatic approach to deal with complex requests Experience of necessary tools (e.g. Workday or CRM Request Management software) Experienced P&C professional working in a global/virtual environment, ideally with servicing experience Strong communication, consulting and influencing skills Should have a growth mindset with a very high capacity of execution in a dynamic global environment Proactive with negotiation skills and the ability to cope with time pressure in demanding situations and manage multiple priorities Ability to lead teams without direct authority and ensure end-to-end ownership Project management and process improvement experience and/or certification are ideal Demonstrated experience managing and supporting change initiatives. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple, competing priorities. Proven track record of being able to deliver in a matrix organization. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and multicultural environment working across borders.
