Responsibilities:

• Support system monitoring infrastructure and ensure all supported servers with monitoring agents installed and configured properly.
• Solve critical technical issues, emergency troubleshooting and post-mortem analysis.
• Manage and support the upgrade on new system, deployment and maintain smooth system operations.
• To provide day-to-day operations, administration, tuning and capacity management of midrange system to ensure good performance.
• To resolve all midrange system incidents and issue within agreed timeline.
• To perform operation fault analysis and provide recommendation for improving the production batch window.
• To develop and maintain procedures for administration and monitoring of all midrange systems.
• To develop and maintain Disaster Recovery procedures for identified servers.

Requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of working experience in technical support on Unix and/or Windows Server Platforms with knowledge of monitoring.
• Possess strong knowledge and administration experience in Nagios, Netgain, SCOM and fair knowledge of Enterprise Monitoring tools.
• Experience in SCOM is value added.
• Familiar with network and system management platforms for Microsoft System Center, HP Openview, CA Unicenter NSM and BMC Patrol (any monitoring tool).
• Intermediate knowledge in VMWare is preferable.
• Customer service minded - able to resolve queries/issues from customers in accordance to service levels and with the interest of the customer in mind.
• Good understanding and with passion to learn broad knowledge on IT infrastructure management, network, operation systems and databases.
• Able to multitask, works under pressure and at the same time deliver high quality result against tight deadlines.
• Good presentation, documentation, interpersonal and problems solving skills.
• Committed to deadline and with good communication and inter-personal skills and willing to work over-time if required.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written in English and Chinese (Value add)
