Four of these PSCs are in waters off the eastern Malaysian state of Sabah: Block G, Block J, and the Kebabangan Cluster (KBBC) which are non-operated blocks and Block SB405, an operated exploration block acquired in 2021. Additionally, COP operates another two exploration PSCs: Block WL4-00 and Block SK304, in waters off the eastern Malaysian state of Sarawak.This position will be responsible for protecting the company\xe2\x80\x99s interest and enhancing value in COP\xe2\x80\x99s partner operated assets (POA) in Malaysia. The Operations Engineering Analyst will provide operational integration for facility and project activities. This includes understanding the business risks from project execution, integrated activity planning, unplanned activities and their effects on production and costs. The role will also require financial acumen to support cost monitoring and COP Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99s obligatory finance reporting by incorporating production and plant activities into cost forecasts.Stakeholder management is essential in this role as the Operations Engineer will require establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships in these partnerships.Primary Functions/Responsibilities:Responsible in ensuring COP\xe2\x80\x99s interest is protected in the assets.Responsible in monitoring and analysis of production and operational aspects of Partner Operated Assets.Responsible in developing performance and production input to obligitory COP and regulatory reporting.Responsible for all operational and production issues, including project related activities that impact operations and production.Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with partners and the other upstream operators in Malaysia.Support achievement of production goals through the management of downtime and operating efficiency.Influence the operators\xe2\x80\x99 management of costs.Share accountability for building annual Long Range Plan (LRP) for Malaysia Business Unit (MBU).HSE Roles:Comply with HSE policies, Life Saving Rules, procedures, goals and programs within the MBU HSE Management System.Actively engage in and contribute to HSE communication and consultation processes.Actively participate in HSE initiatives and programs that include but not limited to, Safety Observations and HSE Trainings.Support company sustainability development (SD) initiatives and other environmental policies and practices.Personal Skills:High safety, environmental and ethics standards.Demonstrated multi-discipline team collaboration.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills and the ability to draw and support conclusions.Fundamental understanding and experience with economic analysis.Good understanding of oil and gas E&P contracts (PSC, GSA, etc.).Organisation and planning skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong team player, a high level of self-motivation.Teamwork and influence skills to work effectively with partners.Sensitivity toward living and working in a multi-cultural environment.Track record of delivering on goals.Job Specifications:Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related field.At least 10 years E&P industry experience.Operations and maintenance experience, front end engineering exposure, prior experience in managing partners.Key Interfaces:ConocoPhillips Malaysia Business Unit teamsConocoPhillips functional groups located in HoustonJoint-Venture Operators and PartnersApply Before: April 30, 2024Sponsorship: ConocoPhillips\xe2\x80\x99 sponsorship for employment authorization in the country where this job is located is NOT available for this position.EEO: In the US, ConocoPhillips is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
