• Lead, motivate, and provide support to the team in a fast-paced and challenging environment, including creating career development plans for direct reports and addressing any problems that arise.

• Conduct training sessions for team members to optimize their skills and potential.

• Conduct quarterly performance reviews to assess individual and team progress.

• Manage data collection to update metrics, achieving productivity targets, reducing cost per unit, eliminating errors, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance proprietary tools and systems.

• Supervise materials and inventory.

• Review budgetary matters and report cost plans to upper management.

• Oversee the order fulfillment process, including order entry, administration, and shipping, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

• Ensure that all orders are processed in line with the organizations service standards.

• Efficiently coordinate the supply chain, maintaining communication with suppliers and customers regarding orders, storage, and logistics.

• Strategize shipping and deliveries to keep customers informed of accurate information regularly.

• Work closely with Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to ensure prompt and accurate shipments and deliveries and receive delivery status and inventory reports from warehouses within the region.

• Collect, interpret, and analyze various logistics data, such as customer order history, fulfillment metrics, shipping lead time and cost, inventory holding, 3PL warehouse performance, and more.

• Review logistics and delivery processes and procedures to identify and implement improvements that enhance delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Collaborate with other departments to address inventory issues, including back orders and fulfillment metrics.

• Resolve any discrepancies, errors, and issues with suppliers, customers, and LSP companies.

• Maintain a robust record system for easy retrieval of past and current shipping and order activities.

• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience and a strong background in Supply Chain Management, encompassing expertise in planning, operations management, and process/systems improvement. They should also have exposure to Shipping and Logistics handling and be familiar with international trade requirements.

• Additionally, the candidate should possess knowledge of 3PL/4PL service providers and be well-versed in various payment methods for importing goods, such as letters of credit (LC), documentary collections (documents against payment (DP) or documents against acceptance (DA) terms), and advance payment (AP) terms.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as the candidate will be required to interact with individuals at different organizational levels. They should be detail-oriented, self-driven, and adaptable to change.

• The candidate should have a creative problem-solving ability and actively contribute innovative ideas to address operational issues.

• Proficiency in budget development and oversight is crucial for effective management.

• The ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control over branch operations and customer service is highly valued.

• Excellent skills in conflict management and business negotiation are essential for successful collaboration.

• Familiarity with business productivity software and a willingness to learn new applications is important.

• Understanding of manufacturing/rubber industry operations management, including internal financial statements used to track production costs, materials, and inventory levels, is desirable.

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English is necessary, as the role involves frequent communication with China principals and overseas stakeholders.
